Mrs. Flonnie Mae Pollard Teate

Obituary

Mrs. Flonnie Mae Pollard Teate of Fairburn passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2009. She was preceded in death by her first husband, J.E. Pollard; second husband, Clarence Teate; sisters, Novie Walker, Ruby Reeves; brothers, Howard Dunaway, J.C. Dunaway, Herbert Dunaway; and granddaughter, Sheila Peek.

She is survived by her daughters, Marlene Griffith Mobley and her husband, Dave, of Palmetto, Gwen Chastain and her husband, Clemen, of Newnan; son, James E. (Buddy) Pollard and his wife, Rebecca, of Fairburn; brother, Robert Dunaway and his wife, Ruby, of Fairburn; grandchildren, Everett Griffith Jr., Cindy Lawrence, Donna White, Dennis Chastain, David Chastain; 10 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Arp officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 until 8 p.m. at Parrott Funeral Home and Crematory in Fairburn, 770-964-4800.
