* China Kitchen, 90-H Glenda Trace, Newnan, Ga., was inspected Aug. 8. Current score, 53, U. Inspector's comments: Employees must wash hands between tasks. Wash hands before prepping food, cooking, touching clean dishes. Employee drinks must be stored away from food service storage areas. Fish not from approved source -- discarded. Store personal food out of food service storage areas. Do not store raw meat or eggs over ready-to-eat foods. Keep foods covered in walk-in and reach-in coolers. Sanitize utensils, pots, pans, etc., between uses. Date-mark all food out of original container if being kept more than 24 hours. Label food out of original container with common name. Do not use cans for storage once opened. Store foods off the floor in walk-in. Do not stack pans of food without cover between. Store cloths in sanitizer between uses. Keep scoop handles up and out of food. Air-dry dishes prior to stacking. Use scoops with handles; no bowls. Remove tin foil from shelving. Use three-vat sink properly to wash dishes -- wash, rinse and sanitize. Clean gaskets of coolers. Wear gloves when handling ready-to-eat foods, washing vegetables, etc.

Note: China Kitchen was re-inspected on Aug. 22, and scored a 94, A. Inspector's comments upon re-inspection: Label all bulk items, and label and date freezer foods. Store wiping cloths in sanitizer between uses. Great improvement!

* Los Toribia Mexican Restaurant, 3150 Hwy. 34 East, was inspected Aug. 7. Current score, 45, U. Previous score, 71, C. Inspector's comments: Employees must wash hands before prepping food, putting on clean gloves, touching clean dishes, etc. Do not store raw meat over ready-to-eat foods in walk-in (raw beef over cooked beans). Keep foods covered in reach-ins, walk-ins, etc. Clean insides of bulk chip containers. Mold at ice machine. Provide paper towels at all hand sinks. Cold holding temperatures for food must be at 41ûF or below. Date-mark all foods out of original container to be kept more than 24 hours. Label foods out of original containers with common names. Do not store foods in cans once opened. Provide accurate thermometers in all coolers and freezers. Do not store food on floor in walk-in cooler. Store cloths in sanitizer between uses. Post most recent health inspection score. Store scoop handles up out of food. Air dry dishes prior to stacking. Store utensils with handles up. Use scoops with handles; no bowls. Do not cover shelves with tin foil. Deep clean back area, under and around equipment and outsides of equipment. Patch and paint holes and cracks in walls. Repair broken floor tiles. Replace broken or stained ceiling tiles. Repair vent in restroom. Replace blown bulbs throughout facility. Clean vents. Keep personal items stored out of dry good storage area. Address roach problem more aggressively.

Note: Los Toribios Mexican Restaurant was re-inspected Aug. 21, and scored a 94, A. Inspector's comments upon re-inspection: Keep foods in reach-in cooler covered (shrimp, tortillas). Store utensils with handles up. Store glasses down. Keep sleeves up on to-go cups. Replace broken and stained ceiling tiles. Great improvement!

* Hong Kong Super Buffet, 354 Bullsboro Drive, Newnan, was re-inspected Aug. 21 following an earlier score of 36, U. Current score, 75, C. Inspector's comments upon re-inspection: Employees must wash hands between glove changes and tasks as needed. Keep foods in walk-in freezer covered. Wash, rinse and sanitize all dishes washed manually and use three-vat dish sink. Coolers must maintain food temperature at 41ûF or below. Do not leave food in Coke cooler for more than two hours until repaired. Store utensils with handles up. Do not stack glasses. Remove cardboard lining shelves and oven. Clean and paint shelves. Continue with cleaning and painting of facility. Store personal items out of food service storage areas. Do not store food in cans once opened.

* Town & Country Restaurant, 8 Franklin Road, Newnan, was inspected Aug. 13. Current score, 78, C. Inspector's comments: Cut tomatoes in top section of salad cooler 60ûF; spaghetti noodles in plastic container on top of steam well lid 71.7ûF; sliced tomatoes in top section of lift-top cooler 48.1ûF -- hold foods cold 41ûF or below/hot 135ûF or above. Dishwasher not sanitizing. Need sanitizer in wiping cloths. Foods inside walk-in cooler not labeled or dated -- label and date foods removed from original container and held more than 24 hours. Food particles on can opener. Stained ceiling tiles. Grease receptacle stored on grass -- store on concrete pad. Murky liquid in pipe outside -- owner said liquid is coming from air conditioner. Need certified food safety manager within 90 days.

* El Ranchero, 211-E Bullsboro Drive, Newnan, was inspected Aug. 14. Current score, 50, U. Previous score, 92, A. Inspector's comments: Wash hands before prepping or cooking food, between glove changes, etc. Employees must wear gloves when handling ready-to-eat foods. Do not store raw chicken over beef. Store according to stacking order based on cooking temperatures. Keep foods covered. Coolers must maintain food temperature at 41ûF or below. Date-mark anything out of the original container with common name. Do not store food in cans once opened. Provide accurate thermometers in all coolers. Do not store food on the floor of the walk-in. Store cloths in sanitizer between uses. Air-dry dishes prior to stacking. Keep sleeves up on to-go cups. Remove cardboard from prep area. Clean shelves. Pain any raw wood. Clean under and around equipment. Replace missing ceiling tiles, broken floor tiles. Replace shield on light in employee restroom. Replace weather strip at back door.

Note: El Ranchero was re-inspected Aug. 28, and scored a 98, A. Inspector's comments upon re-inspection: Seal or paint any raw wood. Replace broken floor tiles. Store personal items out of food storage areas. Looks good!

* Dynasty Oriental Delicacy, 34 Bullsboro Drive, Newnan, was inspected Aug. 15. Current score, 59, U. Previous score, 87. Inspector's comments: Employees cooking or preparing food must wash hands properly with soap at hand sink and use paper towels to dry. Employees must wear gloves when handling ready-to-eat foods (chopping peppers with no gloves). Store foods in coolers according to cook temperatures (raw beef over sauces, eggs over vegetables, raw chicken over beef). Keep foods covered. Clean mold from drink nozzles and ice machine. Clean dishes properly (wash, rinse and sanitize). Date-mark all food out of the original container if to be kept more than 24 hours. Label all food out of original container with common name. Provide accurate thermometers in all cooling units. Do not stack pans with out cover between. Store cloths in sanitizer between uses. Keep scoop handles up. Keep sleeves up on to-go cups. Remove cardboard from prep areas, reach-ins, etc. Clean and paint any raw wood. Do not use dish sinks to wash hands. Clean shelves, equipment inside and outside, under and around equipment. Clean floor, walls and ceilings. Patch and pain as needed. Clean vent hood and vents throughout facility. Store personal items out of food storage areas. Replace weather strip at back door.

Note: Dynasty Oriental Delicacy was re-inspected Aug. 29, and scored a 98, A. Inspector's comments upon re-inspection: Repair walk-in freezer door. Remove duct tape from prep bar/cooler. Clean outside at prep bar/cooler. Clean mold from wall under walk-in freezer. Continue to paint and seal any cracks throughout facility. New paint in kitchen! Looks good!
